Bringing Live Theatre to McHenry County Since 1967

A charming and dazzling musical adaptation of one of Hollywood’s most beloved films. Set in the late 1920s during the rise of “talkies,” Singin’ in the Rain follows silent film star Don Lockwood as he navigates fame, romance, and the challenge of transitioning into a new era of cinema. Alongside his quirky best friend Cosmo Brown and talented ingénue Kathy Selden, Don must rescue his latest film and win over hearts—on and off-screen. Audiences will delight in iconic numbers like “Good Morning,” “Make ’Em Laugh,” and, of course, the legendary title song “Singin’ in the Rain.” With timeless music, tap-dancing spectacle, and comedic flair, this show is a joyful tribute to the golden age of movie musicals.
